Aiming Post Lamp (APL)


Military forces around the world have been using Aiming Post Lamps for many years. Usually, for the alignment of howitzers, mortars and heavy machine guns. mb-microtec ag now offers an APL featuring the proven trigalight-technology. Visible over 100 meters, the glotac APL requires no external source of energy and remains fully operational for more than 20 years without any maintenance.

The APL is easily secured and aligned using integrated clamps.

Specifications

- A lens spreads the light emitted over a spherical angle of 7.5° (133 millirads).
- Body and clamp contained in a one piece polyamid case.
- Weight reduced by 60 %.
- Fully corrosion resistant.
- Increased operational temperature range.
- Sighting points mounted along the top edge of the unit to enable fast alignment of the lamp to
   the dial sight during daylight installation.
- Optionally, the sighting points can be illuminated for night installation.
- Greater packing density.
- Improved resistance to shock and vibration.
- Accommodates square and round poles diameter 28 to 36 mm. (Other clamp sizes available.)
