Special lights are gaseous tritium light sources, which emit light in a wavelength range that is not visible to the human eye (UV/IR).

As stated above, this type of light source can only be perceived with the help of night vision goggles. This special light / device makes it possible to mark items or routes without these being generally visible. It enables the setting up of friend / enemy identification, marking of units, aircraft and vehicles as well as a lot of other things too numerous to mention.
