How are mb-microtec ag trigalight® installed?
There are three different alternatives for installing mb-microtec ag trigalight on hands and faces:
• The lights are installed on the hands and face using an elastic adhesive
(silicone).
• The lights are placed in a ring with the necessary openings for the light
to escape.
• The lights can be laid in a cut-out (with the corresponding dimension)
in hands and faces
using a special adhesive foil, secured on the reverse
side of these parts.
Does mb-microtec ag offer hands and faces equipped with mb-microtec ag trigalight®?
mb-microtec ag has extensive experience in the fitting of trigalight on hands and faces and we shall gladly offer you this service.
Can mb-microtec ag trigalight® be fitted into all watches?
A particular hand height is required to ensure perfect rotation of the hands. (Hand height no. 6). We recommend not fitting trigalight retrospectively into a finished watch.
Can trigalight ® be fitted in or on a bezel (elapsed time ring)?
Yes, trigalight which are to be installed into the rotating ring must be protected against mechanical damage. mb-microtec ag has developed various trigalight inserts for this purpose. The trigalight inserts consist of a metal case and a sapphire window through which light is visible. The installation of the insert is carried out via simple placing of the insert into the corresponding gluefilled opening on the bezel.

Are there other statutory requirements?
In most countries, handling, import, export, storing, processing of trigalight sources and products so equipped, is subject to special regulations and engaging in such activities may require a special permit.
In some countries, the marketing of trigalight equipped watches also
requires licensing. Normally, such permits are easily obtained as long as the total activity of a watch does not exceed 25 mCi or 0,925 GBq.
Nevertheless, there are exceptions. We recommend that you contact the responsible authorities in your country in order to obtain clarification of all requirements.
